LOW SYN CRISPY CHICKEN WRAP FAKEAWAY

LOW SYN CRISPY CHICKEN WRAP FAKEAWAY

Well these look pretty darn delicious to me. I always have tortilla s wraps on hand. This is the perfect meal for a light dinner. Add a side salad (or some fries or onion rings) and we would be happy campers.

Ingredients
  • 1/2tsp Cumin
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2tsp Hot Chilli Powder
  • 2x20g Cheese Slices (see notes for Healthy Extra A info)
  • 1/2tsp Salt
  • Low Calorie Cooking Spray
  • 1 Weight Watchers Wrap
  • 1 Chicken Breast
  • 15g Lightly Salted Tortilla Chips (please check syn values of the brand you use)
  • 1/2tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 Lettuce Leaves

Instructions

First Blitz 15g of Lightly Salted Tortilla Chips in a food processor or by hand until you have a semi-fine powder with a few larger chunks mixed throughout.

Then Combine the crushed tortilla chips with dried parsley, hot chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, cumin and salt.

Slice a chicken breast into chunky strips.

Whisk an egg in a separate bowl and spray a baking tray with low calorie cooking spray.

Dip each piece of chicken first into the whisked egg and then into the crushed tortilla mix, making sure to cover each piece completely with tortilla chips.

Place each piece on the baking tray and bake for 25 minutes, or until crispy and cooked all the way through.

You will know that they are cooked when they come off the bottom of the pan without leaving behind their coating and the underside of each piece has a good colour to it.

Layer salad, chicken and cheese on top of your wrap and close each side to form the wrap.

Press the wrap in a panini press or place back in the oven with a heat resistant dish pressing down over the top and allow the cheese to melt as the wrap toasts.

Slice and serve your Low Syn Crispy Chicken Wrap whilst hot and melted! Happy Cooking Time
